To honor his legacy and carry forward his dream, the Tyson H. Duncan Unbreakable Fund at the UC Davis Health Comprehensive Cancer Center was established in 2025. Tyson’s family contributed $20,000 to launch this initiative. We’ve now reached the $50,000 endowment threshold. An endowment is significant because it is invested and generates annual support in perpetuity, ensuring that Tyson’s legacy will provide assistance year after year for generations to come.
Contributions to this fund will support pediatric oncology patients and their families in need at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. This support may cover essential expenses such as travel, food, and lodging during treatment. Pediatric patient social workers will nominate specific families as prospective fund recipients.
The Duncan Family will not make award decisions. The investment approach for donations and which patients receive your contributions will be made by UC Davis Health. All donations go straight to UC Davis Health. Every contribution brings us closer to making Tyson’s dream a lasting reality.
